Tutem Mask Features
ASTM F2100 Level 1 Compliant (Adult Masks)
Tutem masks are disposable, 3-Ply surgical masks that have three functional layers:
Top layer is a non-woven protective outer layer that helps to repel moisture
Filtration layer is an intermediate layer made of melt-blown fabric, which acts as a filter
Inner layer is a skin-friendly fabric designed for comfort and warm air absorption
We care about performance as much as design, and therefore have run tests to ensure our masks perform according to certain healthcare standards. When tested, Tutem’s adult-sized masks are ASTM F2100 Level 1 compliant.
Individually Wrapped
Many infectious diseases are transmitted through direct skin/hand contact or indirectly via fomites. Tutem individually wraps each mask in protective material to help limit the risk of transmission while the masks are being handled, so our customers can more safely:
distribute masks to family, friends, neighbors, colleagues, or anyone in need
dispose of used masks by putting them back into the protective package before discarding
carry their masks in backpacks, purses, computer bags, etc, without picking up contaminates
Made in the USA
Tutem masks are made in the USA. We manufacture our masks on US soil and use domestically procured materials. In doing so, not only do we support our economy, but we are able to closely monitor the quality of our masks, so that we can continue to meet high safety standards.
Latex Free (Adult Masks)
We know skin can be sensitive to latex, so we do not assemble our adult-sized masks with latex material. Tutem adult-sized mask ear loops are made from knitted cotton, which is comfortable and strong.
